On behalf of our Energy client, Procom is searching for a Sr Project Manager for a permanent role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client's Raleigh office.
Sr Project Manager - Job Description:
As a Senior Project Manager - Grid Integration, you will lead complex, high-voltage substation and grid integration projects that support the transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy. This role involves working in a cross-functional environment to deliver large-scale turnkey projects across North America.
Sr Project Manager - Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end planning, scheduling, and execution of grid integration and substation projects
• Define project scope, milestones, and deliverables aligned with customer expectations
• Manage budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and overall financial performance
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and energization activities
• Monitor project performance using earned value management tools
• Support contract negotiations, change management, and risk mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements
• Communicate clear, timely project status updates to customers and stakeholders
Sr Project Manager - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management
