Salary Range: As per Exp.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Pharmacy to lead and manage all aspects of our pharmacy operations. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing staff, optimizing performance, and maintaining a high standard of pharmaceutical care across the organization. The Director will also be responsible for budgeting, productivity oversight, accreditation preparedness, and policy development.

This role requires a hands-on leader with strong clinical and operational expertise, a focus on continuous improvement, and the ability to foster collaboration among multidisciplinary teams.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy is required.

    • Advanced degrees (MS, PharmD, or MBA) are strongly preferred.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of five (5) years of healthcare pharmacy experience.

    • At least two (2) years in a leadership or management role.

    • Experience in a for-profit hospital setting is strongly preferred.

    • Demonstrated success in program development, budgeting, productivity, and clinical operations.

    • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills are essential.

  • Licensure:

    • Current (or eligible) New Mexico Pharmacist license is required.
