Nift is disrupting performance marketing, delivering millions of new customers to brands every month. We’re actively looking for a Sales Director to join our Partnerships team. Our Partnerships team is focused on acquiring new supply side Retail Media Networks (RMNs) / Commerce Media Networks (CMNs) / brands / advertisers.

In this role, you will drive a full cycle sales motion for our (supply side) Partnership team. You will respond to qualified inbound leads as well as personally research, identify and pursue prospective Partners to understand their performance goals and conversion paths. You will demonstrate how Nift's consumer touchpoints could positively impact their revenue and consumer experience / engagement. Once a new Partner is onboarded you will ensure the account scales.

Success in this role requires strong sales instincts, a proactive approach to self sourced lead generation, and the ability to articulate Nift’s value proposition. A detail-oriented mindset and excellent organizational skills will be essential as you manage the entire sales cycle from beginning to end, from prospecting to close to onboarding to partnership scale.

What You Will Do
  • Sales Development and Prospecting: Research, identify, target, and pursue high impact Partners that meet our ICP selection criteria.
  • Lead Management: Quickly engage with inbound leads from marketing campaigns, qualifying prospects and identifying opportunities to close deals.
  • Solution Selling: Conduct discovery calls / meetings to understand each prospective Partner’s unique needs and use cases tailoring Nift’s solutions to meet their desired goals.
  • Deal Negotiation: Lead negotiations, including pricing and contract terms, to secure mutually beneficial agreements that align with the Partner’s goals and Nift’s growth objectives.
  • Relationship Management: Manage multiple and complex stakeholders under tight deadlines, Build strong strategic relationships with decision-makers at RMNs / CMNs, become a trusted advisor.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Drive new logo acquisition, develop and maintain a robust pipeline, providing accurate updates, forecasts and reporting progress toward acquisition targets.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams in marketing, client success, data science and operations to ensure smooth Partner onboarding, pilot launch and ongoing success.
  • Market Insights: Become a category expert for Nift. Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and market shifts to continuously refine sales strategies.
What You Need
  • 8 or more years of experience: selling to C level contacts in the “supply side” of digital advertising, (i.e. RMNs / CMNs).
  • Demonstrable proof of existing relationships and a strong network.
  • Proven track record of developing their own leads, gaining access themselves, closing deals, and exceeding their quota and sales targets.
  • Solution-Selling Approach: Strong ability to understand Partner needs, recommend tailored solutions, and concisely articulate our value proposition.
  • Background in selling to large and complex enterprises.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence senior level executives and stakeholders.
  • Highly Organized: with attention to detail and a methodical approach to managing sales processes.
  • Proficient in CRM and sales tools to manage leads, track progress, and report results.
  • Data Driven: able to translate campaign data and third-party insights into compelling sales messaging, and connect the dots between Partner goals and platform performance to find a path to consistent success.
