Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design.

Role Overview:

Security Director Cloud (SD Cloud) is a cloud-native Security Management Platform that provides centralized management, monitoring, policy administration, and automation for Juniper SRX Firewalls, vSRX, Secure Edge, and hybrid cloud security environments. It enables enterprises to manage security policies consistently across on-premises, cloud, and remote locations through a single web interface. SD Cloud is also positioned as HPE/Juniper's management portal for Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and supports unified policy management, Zero Trust security, Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP), threat visibility, analytics, automation, and API-driven integrations.

Security Director (On-Prem) is the on-premises version of the same security management platform. It centrally manages SRX and vSRX firewalls, providing policy lifecycle management, monitoring, configuration, logging, and automation through a web-based interface. It is the successor to Junos Space Security Director and offers similar operational capabilities for organizations that require local deployment.

We are seeking a seasoned technical leader whose contributions have visible technical impact on a product/components. Applies in-depth professional knowledge and innovative ideas to solve complex problems. Achieve cost reductions, or satisfy current and future unmet customer needs.

Recognized internal authority on key technology area applying innovative principles and ideas. Provides technical leadership for significant project/program work. Leads or participates in cross-functional initiatives and contributes to mentorship and knowledge sharing across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for one or more modules end-to-end of the product.

  • Coding of well defined task items

  • Strong code debugging and software design skills at module level and should be able to work on multiple modules/features.

  • Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products.

  • Follows compliance and development guidelines and standards in implementation.

  • Ensure high-quality software delivery by writing robust Unit Test cases, improving code coverage through automation, validating new and existing functionality, and documenting and executing functional test cases prior to QA handoff.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience building Cloud product(s) with Microservices architecture

  • Extensive knowledge in Cloud applications and technologies.

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, software debugging skills.

  • Demonstrated experience working in cross-geography, globally distributed engineering teams, collaborating effectively across multiple time zones and cultures to deliver complex software solutions.

  • Extensive hands-on experience across several of the following technology areas, with the ability to quickly adapt and contribute to adjacent domains.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering

  • Typically 4-6 years experience.
