Lead Hasbro's global Retail Media Center of Excellence (COE), driving strategic vision, investment strategy, operational excellence, capability development, and business growth across Amazon, Walmart Connect, Roundel, and emerging retail media networks. This role serves as the senior functional leader responsible for establishing Retail Media as a core growth capability within Hasbro's newly established in-house media organization.
As part of Hasbro's transformation toward a world-class internal media model, the Director, Global Retail Media will define the operating model, governance framework, measurement standards, technology roadmap, and long-term capability strategy for Retail Media. The role will oversee Retail Media strategy across North America while providing governance and strategic guidance for Amazon retail media programs across EMEA.
Working closely with Consumer Sales, eCommerce, Brand Marketing, Analytics, Finance, Creative, and agency partners, this position ensures retail media investments drive measurable business outcomes including revenue growth, market share expansion, customer acquisition, retail readiness, and return on media investment.
The ideal candidate combines deep retail media expertise, commercial acumen, organizational leadership experience, and a builder mindset. They are energized by creating new capabilities, establishing scalable operating models, and driving transformational change across a complex, matrixed organization.
Effective from the date that Hasbro opens its new Boston location, this position will be onsite Tuesday - Thursday at Hasbro's new HQ location in Boston, MA. In the interim, this position will be onsite Tuesday - Thursday at Hasbro's HQ in Pawtucket, RI or at Hasbro's temporary location in Boston, MA.
A day in the life of a Director Global Retail Media:
Define and lead Hasbro's global Retail Media vision, strategy, and operating model.
  • Establish long-term Retail Media priorities aligned with Hasbro's Toys & Games growth objectives.
  • Ensure Retail Media investments support brand growth, commerce objectives, retailer priorities, and business performance goals.
  • Guide retailer-specific strategies across Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, Roundel, and emerging retail media networks.
  • Champion innovation and continuous improvement across Retail Media investments.

Retail Media Center of Excellence Leadership
  • Build and scale Hasbro's Retail Media Center of Excellence.
  • Develop governance structures, operating procedures, planning frameworks, and best practices that improve consistency and effectiveness.
  • Create playbooks, training resources, learning agendas, and capability-building programs.
  • Establish standardized approaches to retailer planning, audience strategy, measurement, reporting, and optimization.
  • Drive knowledge sharing and organizational learning across teams and regions.

Measurement, Analytics & Effectiveness
  • Partner with Marketing Analytics & AIM teams to establish Retail Media measurement frameworks and performance standards.

Technology & Innovation

What you'll bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Retail Media, Commerce Media, Performance Marketing, or related digital media disciplines.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience with a demonstrated track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Deep expertise across Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, Roundel, and broader Retail Media ecosystems.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale media investments tied directly to commercial outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of measurement, attribution, audience strategy, and media effectiveness.
  • Experience developing operating models, governance frameworks, or organizational capabilities.
  • Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive organizational change.
  • Strong communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills.
  • Experience within consumer products, toys, entertainment, gaming, or related industries preferred.

The pay transparency range for this role is listed below. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
