Job Responsibilities

  • Own net-new logo acquisition for the Audit & Attest (A&A) business unit in the Southeast or New York Metro region by originating, qualifying, and progressing new opportunities from first contact through close, partnering with A&A leadership and partners for solutioning and executive sponsorship.

  • Identify and engage prospective clients, build relationships, understand business challenges, and present tailored solutions that align with their needs.

  • Build awareness of Armanino's full suite of services to expand client bundling opportunities with Consulting, Tax, CFO Advisory, Business Outsource Accounting, and Strategy & Transformation services.

  • Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, solution scoping, proposal development, while coordinating with audit & attest partners.

  • Research and qualify leads, continuously building and managing a healthy pipeline of opportunities.

  • Actively participate in marketing and brand-building initiatives, including webinars, trade shows, and industry events.

  • Collaborate with practice leaders and subject matter experts to design compelling client solutions and proposals.

  • Communicate effectively with prospects, clients, and internal teams via phone, email, networking, and in-person interactions.

  • Work collaboratively in a team-oriented, high-growth environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • 7+ years of business development or client-facing sales experience within professional services (consulting, tax, audit, or advisory)

  • Experience selling audit/attest strongly preferred; must demonstrate ability to sell regulated, trust-based services.

  • Proven track record of building relationships, generating new business, and exceeding sales targets.

  • Established business network with buyers (CFOs, CEOs, board members), referral sources, and investor community (PE, VC, solo entrepreneurs) and ability to develop new client connections across industries.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to engage executive-level audiences.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. For New York residents, the compensation range for this position: $206,600-$281,500. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location. Eligible employees at certain levels can participate in a discretionary long-term financial incentive plan, subject to plan participation rules.
