Job description

Leading multi-disciplinary team is looking for a Director of Civil Engineering for their Columbus team!



Responsibilities:

  • Develop, initiate and implement a business plan/strategy building
  • Build/maintain client relationships
  • Assist with business development opportunities
  • Recruit/retain high performing team members
  • Mentor/train junior staff
  • Interact and collaborate with other Directors and company leaders across Florida and corporate wide
  • Develop, manage and achieve financial metrics of the group, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth
  • Monitor/direct project managers to achieve project and financial success overall projects within the group
  • Negotiate contracts, fees, and terms with clients and other partners
  • Ensure company high quality design standards are met


Requirements:

  • BS in Civil Engineering
  • PE License
  • 12+ years of Civil design experience
  • Broad civil engineering expertise and an understanding of basic FLA permitting requirements
  • Experience with municipal and other public projects preferred
  • Experience managing staff/clients


Salary is commensurate with experience.
