Position Announcement

The Financial Wellness Center provides one-on-one financialcoaching, educational programming, and campus-wide financialwellness initiatives designed to improve student financialcapability, persistence, and overall well-being. Under theleadership of the Financial Wellness Center Faculty Director, theAssistant Director is an integral part of the Financial WellnessCenter team by leading and managing all aspects of the FinancialWellness Center day-to-day operations. The Assistant Director willhelp advance student success and retention efforts by supportinginitiatives that reduce financial stress and improve students’ability to persist toward graduation. Additionally, this AssistantDirector will work on campus and in the greater Washington Countyarea to coordinate programming development and delivery, and manageall external representation, assessment, and reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships across campus tointegrate financial wellness into student success initiatives.
  • Coordinate data collection, program assessment, and reportingto evaluate student impact and program effectiveness.
  • Supervise and train peer financial coaches, including ongoingprofessional development and quality assurance.
  • Provide direct financial coaching support to students asneeded.
  • Assist in development of outreach strategies, workshops,presentations, and digital educational content.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; master’s degreepreferred.
  • AFC, CFP, CPFC or other related financial counseling credentialwithin 18 months of hire required.
  • Three (3) years in financial education, financial counseling,student services, or higher education programming preferred.
  • Higher-education experience; Navigate familiarity; experiencewith first-gen, Pell-eligible, working, or non-traditionalstudents; Spanish/English bilingual preferred.
POSITION DETAILS, COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Full-timeovertime-exempt staff position. Annual salary of $60,000, with adesired start date of October 2026.
