About The Job

As the Manager of Learning & Development you will be responsible for the following:

Provide strategic direction to cultivate and sustain a culture of continuous learning for all employees.

Align the learning strategy to organizational goals and objectives.

Lead the design, development, and delivery of organization-wide learning structure with a particular emphasis on programs that develop leaders.

Ensure that learning solutions support the brand and have a positive impact on guest experiences.

Keep abreast of trends to align learning with current marketplace conditions and enable strategic responses within an evolving environment.

Lead a team of learning professionals in developing and modeling a culture of learning within service-inspired restaurants.

About You
  • Bachelor degree required; Advanced degree in related field (e.g., M.Ed, MA in Education, etc.) strongly preferred.
  • Certificate in eLearning preferred but not required.
  • Certificate in Adult Education preferred but not required.
  • CTDP Certification preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 5 years learning & development experience with at least 2 + years in a leadership role.
  • Track record as a learning visionary and thought leader.
  • Ability to synthesize multiple inputs into key insights which result in actions that achieve desired business results.
  • Ability to design innovative and effective learning solutions for various audiences within the organization.
  • Practical knowledge of learning theory, cutting edge research, and other learning trends.
  • History of strong partnership and collaboration across team and organizational boundaries; able to accomplish goals in a matrixed environment.
  • Proven ability to lead in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large teams, manage change, influence globally, and enlist Service Inspired Restaurant employees to participate in cross-organizational projects and initiatives.
