Job description

We are looking for a(n) Director of IT, Infrastructure & Operations to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced IT leader to oversee critical infrastructure and operations functions, driving stability, scalability, and performance across the organization's technology environment, in a hybrid role based in Columbus, OH.

Responsibilities
  • Direct the strategy, management, and continuous improvement of IT infrastructure and operations
  • Oversee network, server, storage, and cloud infrastructure to ensure reliability and performance
  • Lead disaster recovery, business continuity planning, and incident response efforts
  • Manage IT operations budgets, vendor relationships, and technology investments
  • Build, lead, and mentor a team of infrastructure and operations professionals
  • Partner with cross-functional IT and business leaders to align infrastructure with organizational needs
  • Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and adherence to best practices
  • Drive infrastructure modernization initiatives, including cloud migration and automation
  • Establish and monitor SLAs, KPIs, and performance metrics across IT operations
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of progressive IT infrastructure/operations experience, including prior leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of network, server, cloud, and systems infrastructure
  • Experience with disaster recovery, business continuity, and incident response planning
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, vendors, and cross-functional teams
