HR Generalist – Temporary Assignment
Qualified Staffing – Cartersville is seeking an experienced HR Generalist for a temporary assignment with a well-established company in White, Georgia. This is a 100% onsite position supporting employees and leadership in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, and employee engagement.
  • Address employee concerns, disciplinary matters, and workplace conflicts.
  • Partner with supervisors and management on HR policies, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Assist with recruiting, staffing, onboarding, and employee orientation.
  • Maintain employee records and HRIS information.
  • Support attendance, timekeeping, payroll-related questions, and employee transfers.
  • Assist with benefits, leave of absence, and other employee programs.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA, and I-9 requirements.
  • Partner with safety teams on workers' compensation claims and incident investigations.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Strong employee relations and conflict-resolution experience.
  • Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA, and employment compliance.
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday, ADP, SAP, or similar.
  • I-9/E-Verify experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work onsite and provide support across multiple shifts as needed.
