Job description

Director of Growth Marketing
Department: Marketing
Manager: EVP, Enterprise Strategy and Marketing
Classification: Exempt
About Navigate
Navigate helps organizations activate workforce health. Our Workforce Health Activation System™ brings programs, benefits, resources, and care together through one integrated framework: Culture strengthens the workforce, Care supports the whole person, and Clinical improves health outcomes. Our proprietary Readiness to Change model personalizes the experience around what each person needs, is interested in, and is ready to act on.
That could mean helping an employee complete an overdue cancer screening by explaining why it matters, where to go, and which benefit can help. For someone experiencing financial stress, it could mean connecting them to relevant education, coaching, or employer resources and giving them one achievable next step. For organizations, Navigate makes every benefit and resource more valuable by increasing discovery and utilization, directing attention toward high-value actions, and providing evidence of reach, behavior, and risk movement.
Navigate supports hundreds of organizations, from emerging businesses to Fortune 100 companies to health plans, PBMs, and broker partners. Our industry-aligned Client Success teams understand the realities of each workforce and help clients turn insight into coordinated strategy, meaningful action, and measurable improvement on the outcomes that matter most.
Our purpose is simple: Do Good Things. The opportunity ahead is significant. Organizations continue to invest in benefits, healthcare, wellbeing, and workforce resources, yet people are still left to determine what matters, where to turn, and what to do next. If you want your work to help more people turn health resources into meaningful action, this is an opportunity to make that impact at scale. We are entering our next stage of growth by establishing Navigate as the leader in Workforce Health Activation and bringing this different approach to more organizations and more people.

How You Contribute to Our Success
The Director of Growth Marketing will build and lead Navigate’s integrated growth motion across enterprise employers, brokers, and consultants. You will determine where Navigate can win, translate those opportunities into focused growth strategies, and connect campaigns, thought leadership, events, digital channels, sales activation, and follow-up around shared business outcomes.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a strategic builder. You will lead a focused team, create the operating model, launch and optimize growth motions, and turn what works into repeatable plays that create demand, accelerate pipeline, and contribute to measurable revenue growth.
What Success Looks Like
Within the first year, you will have:
  • Established a focused growth strategy around the audiences and market opportunities where Navigate can win
  • Launched and improved priority growth motions tied to market engagement, opportunity creation, pipeline progression, and revenue objectives
  • Built a repeatable growth approach for priority accounts
  • Created an integrated operating model that connects Growth Marketing with Brand and Creative and the broader commercial organization
  • Improved executive visibility into account engagement, pipeline impact, learning, and investment decisions

Key Responsibilities
Set the Growth Strategy
  • Build annual and quarterly growth strategies aligned to Navigate’s business and revenue priorities
  • Identify the audiences, market problems, accounts, and opportunities where Navigate has the strongest right to win
  • Use buyer insight, performance data, competitive intelligence, and market signals to make clear investment and prioritization decisions
Build Integrated Growth Motions
  • Turn priority market opportunities into integrated motions that connect positioning, thought leadership, content, product launches, events, digital activation, sales enablement, and follow-up
  • Develop distinct but connected strategies for enterprise employers, brokers, and consultants, including account-based and influence-led growth plays
  • Design focused experiments that test audience, message, offer, channel, and conversion assumptions before scaling investment
  • Partner with the Director of Brand and Creative from the beginning of each motion to align growth strategy with a distinctive narrative, creative platform, and market experience
Create and Accelerate Revenue Opportunities
  • Partner with Sales, Broker Relations, and Sales Enablement to create new opportunities, increase penetration within priority accounts, and advance active opportunities
  • Build an influence-led growth model that helps brokers and consultants understand, believe, retell, and recommend Navigate’s value
  • Ensure every campaign and event has a defined audience, commercial objective, activation plan, follow-up strategy, and accountable owner
Measure, Lean, and Scale
  • Establish a measurement framework connecting audience reach, target-account engagement, broker influence, opportunity creation, pipeline progression, and revenue outcomes
  • Partner with Revenue Operations to strengthen lifecycle definitions, attribution, account visibility, data quality, automation, and executive reporting
  • Lead regular growth reviews that clarify what is working, what has been learned, what should change, and where Navigate should invest next
  • Turn successful motions into repeatable growth plays and just as important, know when to stop work that does not produce meaningful market or business impact
Lead the Team and Operating Model
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Growth Marketing Lead and Events Manager while creating clear accountability across interconnected work
  • Build a practical operating cadence across Growth Marketing, Brand and Creative, Sales, Broker Relations, Sales Enablement, Revenue Operations, Product, and Client Success
  • Use AI and emerging technology to improve insight, execution speed, personalization, experimentation, and team capacity
  • Model a culture of commercial curiosity, urgency, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

The Ideal Candidate
  • Experience in employee benefits, healthcare, HR technology, wellbeing, or another complex B2B market
  • Experience marketing to benefits consultants, brokers, enterprise HR leaders, or benefits buyers
  • Experience establishing a differentiated market position, supported by working knowledge of HubSpot, Salesforce, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, GA4, ABM tools, marketing automation, and AI agents and workflows
  • Proven success developing integrated marketing campaigns that generate measurable pipeline and revenue growth through broker partnerships and direct to employer.
  • Strong understanding of account-based marketing, digital marketing, marketing automation, lead generation, and campaign analytics.
  • Experience managing paid media, email marketing, website optimization, SEO, AEO, webinar programs, and marketing technology platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into scalable marketing programs.
  • Exceptional analytical, project management, and communication skills.
  • Experience leading high-performing marketing teams while fostering collaboration across Sales, Product, Client Success, and Executive Leadership.

The Navigate Way – Core Expectations
At Navigate, we expect all employees to live our values:
  • Deliver the Boom
  • Everybody Love Everybody

  • Inspire & Innovate
  • Embrace Change
  • Growth is Great
  • Efficient & Effective

Minimum Requirements
  • 7+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, including meaningful ownership of growth, demand generation, or go-to-market strategy, with clear evidence you can own an outcome end to end rather than one function
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent experience.
  • A GM instinct building or materially transforming a growth capability and translating complex business problems into measurable commercial results
  • Experience with complex enterprise buying groups, long sales cycles, account-based growth, and a broker, consultant, advisor, partner, or other influence-led sales model
  • The ability to move comfortably between executive-level strategy and hands-on campaign development, problem solving, and execution
  • Strong analytical and commercial judgment, including the ability to decide where not to invest and align teams around a shared growth priority
  • Experience coaching a small, high-performing team in a fast-moving environment

Working Environment
  • Standard office work environment. Minimum ability to lift push and pull 10lbs.
  • Normal mental and visual attention is required. Normal office working conditions requiring continuous use of both hands. Sitting most of the time, may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
