Job description

Description

This is not an account management role. This is a true enterprise hunter position.

We are looking for someone who can build pipeline from scratch, win competitive deals, and close large, high-value partnerships while selling directly to CEOs, CMOs, and private equity leaders. If you thrive on closing net-new business, this role is built for you.

About UpSwell Marketing

UpSwell is a nationally recognized marketing agency helping multi-location brands, franchise systems, and private equity-backed platforms drive measurable revenue through direct mail, digital marketing, analytics, and data-driven strategy. We are in a high-growth phase, expanding rapidly as we scale our national accounts business and invest in building a high-performance revenue organization.

What You Will Own
  • Build and manage a strong enterprise pipeline with a majority of opportunities self-sourced
  • Prospect into franchise systems, enterprise organizations, and private equity-backed platforms
  • Lead executive-level conversations with CEOs, CMOs, operating partners, and senior leadership teams
  • Run full-cycle sales processes from discovery through close
  • Navigate complex proposals, RFPs, and multi-stakeholder buying environments
  • Close strategic partnerships and drive new logo acquisition

This role is about winning new business, not managing existing accounts.

What Success Looks Like
  • Consistently building a qualified enterprise pipeline
  • Generating net-new opportunities through outbound efforts
  • Winning competitive deals and RFPs
  • Establishing trusted relationships with executive decision-makers
  • Driving meaningful and measurable revenue growth

Requirements

Who You Are
  • 5+ years of enterprise or national B2B sales experience in a hunter role
  • Proven track record of net-new logo acquisition and self-generated pipeline
  • Demonstrated ability to close complex, high-value deals
  • Experience working through long sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong executive presence and ability to lead strategic business conversations
  • Highly competitive, self-driven, and results-oriented

Preferred experience includes:

  • Selling marketing services, media, or performance marketing
  • Selling data or analytics solutions
  • Working with franchise systems, multi-location brands, or private equity-backed organizations
  • Winning competitive pitches or RFP-driven opportunities
Compensation and Opportunity
  • Competitive base salary with uncapped commission
  • Significant earning potential for high performers
  • High-visibility role with direct access to executive leadership
  • Opportunity to influence growth within a rapidly scaling organization
Why Join UpSwell
  • We are in a high-growth phase, expanding our national accounts division and investing aggressively in revenue generation
  • You will play a direct role in scaling the business, not just contributing to it
  • You are trusted to build, sell, and close, with real ownership over outcomes
  • You will have access to executive leadership and decision-makers, not layers of bureaucracy
  • You will operate in a performance-driven environment where results are recognized and rewarded
  • You are selling solutions backed by proven, measurable outcomes, not empty promises
  • There is clear opportunity to grow your impact, earnings, and career as the company continues to scale
Bottom Line

This role is for sales professionals who want ownership, autonomy, and the ability to close meaningful deals.

If your strength is building pipeline, navigating complex sales cycles, and closing net-new business, we want to connect.
