A well established and growing financial services firm with a large, dedicated advisor network is hiring a Director of Financial Planning to lead advanced planning strategy and support their advisors and clients directly. This is a rare opportunity to build and shape a department from the ground up, with real autonomy and visibility to leadership.

What You\'ll Do:

  • Serve as a go to planning resource for a large network of financial advisors, helping them solve complex client planning needs
  • Build comprehensive financial plans across investment, tax, estate, retirement, and insurance disciplines
  • Meet directly with advisors and their clients to present strategies and recommendations with confidence and clarity
  • Own the planning tech stack, evaluating and recommending new tools and platforms
  • Develop new planning frameworks, whitepapers, and client facing deliverables
  • Mentor and guide a growing team, starting with one direct report
  • Lead special projects that advance the department\'s goals and help relaunch and grow the function
  • Stay current on planning regulations, market trends, and how AI is shaping the future of the profession
