Job Summary

SiTime is seeking a Director, Test Engineering to lead a team and drive the development of production test solutions for SiTimeโ€™s precision timing products. We are looking for a highly technical leader and strategic thinker, working cross-functionally and with manufacturing partners to develop complex and highly optimized production systems enabling SiTimeโ€™s game-changing products. Responsibilities include:


Responsibilities:

  • Lead a geographically diverse team of talented engineers developing test and automation solutions
  • Define test strategies/roadmap and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Drive cross-functional workflow improvements including automation, simulation, and AI
  • Provide technical oversight and strategic guidance for the team
  • Deep dive when needed to solve tough technical challenges
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive new product development and introduction activities
  • Support other projects as needed by management or as business needs evolve

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum MS Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 8 years of related work experience
  • Experience as a technical leader, demonstrated ability to deep-dive to solve technical challenges
  • Background in semiconductor test development for high-volume mixed-signal ICs
  • Hands-on knowledge and experience with analog electronics
  • Experience with test software development (C++ or similar)
  • Ability to analyze and interpret test data, drive root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Prior experience with timing ICs (clock buffers, clock generators, PLLs, etc.) preferred but not required
  • Experience improving workflows using automation/AI preferred but not required
  • Must be physically able to lift, push, pull up to 10 lbs

The annual base salary range for this role is $223,500.00 โ€“ $316,660.00. The final offer is determined by factors such as location, experience, education, and training.
