Toyota is seeking a highly analytical and business-minded Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) Lead to support data-driven marketing measurement and optimization efforts.

The primary responsibility of this role is to analyze marketing performance across channels, develop marketing mix models, generate actionable insights, and help improve media investment decisions through advanced analytics and presenting findings to executive stakeholders and partners.

Reporting to the Manager, Marketing Analytics, you will play a key role in evaluating the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and supporting strategic decisions that drive business growth, customer engagement, and efficient media spend.

What you'll be doing

In this role, your analytical expertise and strategic mindset will help measure the impact of marketing investments and uncover insights that improve campaign effectiveness. This includes implementation, stakeholder management, data collection, measurement strategy, and executive presentations. Success in this position means translating complex data into clear recommendations that help stakeholders optimize media and marketing performance and maximize return on investment.

Develop, maintain, and enhance marketing mix models to measure the impact of media and non-media drivers on business performance.

Analyze historical sales, campaign, promotional, digital, and external market data to identify key business drivers and performance trends.

Serve as lead for presenting insights, recommendations, and readouts to internal and external stakeholders.

Prepare clear and compelling presentations, dashboards, and reports.

Conduct training and education sessions for MMM methodology and readouts.

Oversee the development, maintenance, and enhancements of measurement strategies and frameworks around campaign reporting and MMM. Derive insights and analytics from reporting to support business decision making.

Partner with marketing, media, finance, and analytics teams to translate business questions into measurement frameworks and actionable insights.

Bridge insights and recommendations from MMM to campaign analytics: Manage Marketing Tactic measurement framework inclusive of Test & Learns, Pilots, Brand Lift, A/B testing, etc.

Evaluate channel effectiveness across paid, owned, and earned media to support budget allocation and investment optimization.

Conduct scenario planning and forecasting analyses to estimate the impact of different marketing strategies and spending levels.

Ensure data quality and integrity by validating inputs, assumptions, and modeling outputs.

Monitor model performance over time and recommend updates based on changes in market conditions, consumer behavior, or business strategy.

Support test design and measurement strategies

What you bring

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Economics, Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field or equivalent work-related experience

5+ years of experience in data analysis and insights

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and engaging manner

Experience building executive level and technical PowerPoint presentations that translate data into storytelling and actionable insights

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a solid understanding of statistical modeling techniques and their application in marketing

Meticulous attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy and integrity

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Added bonus if you have

Graduate Degree

Previous work with MMM vendors or data science teams to drive marketing mix insights

Experience in statistical software and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, SAS, or MATLAB.

Proficient with data visualization tools like Tableau or Looker a plus.

Experience in Automotive industry
