I’m Caroline, a Recruitment Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in finance roles. I handle two types of placements: temporary and permanent positions on Montreal’s South Shore. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates within your industry. We cover roles in accounting, finance, and payroll.
I am currently seeking a CPA Finance Director for my client based on the South Shore. This is a permanent, on-site position.

Mission

- Oversee all of the company’s financial operations, including accounting, financial statements, cash management, budgets, and financial forecasts
- Ensure the timely preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Actively participate in financial planning, performance analysis, and strategic support for senior management
- Implement and optimize internal controls, financial processes, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Oversee the budgeting process, variance analyses, and recommendations for improvement
- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial partners
- Support manufacturing and distribution operations in optimizing costs, inventory, and profitability
- Lead and develop the finance/accounting team
- Participate in various financial transformation and continuous improvement projects
- Collaborate closely with various departments to support the company’s growth

Your profile

- CPA certification required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management or finance director role
- Experience in the manufacturing and/or distribution sectors
- Bilingualism in French and English required, both spoken and written
- Excellent command of financial statements, financial analysis, and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and ability to prioritize
- Proficiency with ERP systems and financial tools
Assets
- Experience within a multinational company
- Involvement in an ERP implementation or optimization
- Experience in a multi-site or multi-entity environment
