A propos du poste :


Nous recherchons un(e) Directeur(trice) Excellence operationnelle pour piloter notre programme de transformation et assurer la mise en uvre complete du BCOS (Barry Callebaut Operating System) au niveau du site, en accord avec le plan directeur regional/site. Ce poste se concentre sur le developpement des capacites des processus de travail BCOS du site afin d'obtenir des resultats de classe mondiale, en ligne avec la vision "Go for ZERO" de Barry Callebaut. Le/La Directeur(rice) Excellence operationnelle du site guidera et soutiendra les dirigeants du site, le management intermediaire et les equipes cles dans l'implementation de l'ensemble des piliers des processus de travail afin d'atteindre les objectifs et resultats attendus.


Responsabilites principales :

  • Soutenir la revision, la mise en uvre et le coaching pour deployer les processus de travail lies aux piliers BCOS.
  • Diriger le processus de definition des objectifs et de deploiement sur le site (planification Hoshin).
  • S'assurer que tous les indicateurs de performance (KPIs) sont reportes dans le systeme et a temps.
  • Generer des analyses pour soutenir les actions visant a ameliorer en continu la performance du site a travers le tableau de bord equilibre.
  • Garantir les activites d'analyse des causes racines (RCA) impliquant les responsables de l'usine et les membres des zones designees pour tous les KPIs, afin d'atteindre les objectifs fixes.
  • Coordonner les activites de routine quotidienne (reunions d'equipe, horaires, quotidiennes, etc.) et les reunions de revue operationnelle mensuelles.
  • Rendre visibles a l'ensemble de la chaine d'approvisionnement les opportunites de reduction des pertes en creant une cartographie des pertes et un pipeline de productivite du site.
  • Etre le representant du programme de mise en uvre du BCOS aupres de l'equipe de direction locale et de l'organisation BC au sens large.
  • Jouer un role cle dans le developpement et le deploiement/l'adoption du MES et des autres initiatives digitales du site, en ligne avec la strategie Industrie 4.0.
  • Effectuer des auto-evaluations regulieres en utilisant les outils d'evaluation BCOS Health Check et elaborer un plan d'action pour combler les ecarts par rapport au plan directeur du site.
  • Promouvoir des exercices de benchmark internes et externes afin d'identifier des opportunites d'amelioration des performances du site.


A propos de vous: 

  • Diplome de niveau Baccalaureat ou Master en Ingenierie (Chimique, Mecanique, Electrique, Industrielle, Agroalimentaire).
  • 5 a 10 ans d'experience dans un environnement manufacturier.
  • Minimum 3 ans d'experience dans la mise en uvre de processus d'amelioration continue, tels que : TPM (un atout), les principes et outils Lean Supply Chain et/ou Six Sigma.
  • Experience approfondie ou un ensemble de competences dans les domaines suivants : IWS (Integrated Work Systems) , WCM (World Class Manufacturing) ou Leadership en transformation.
  • Experience en gestion et pilotage d'initiatives dans un environnement multiculturel.
  • Maitrise avancee des logiciels Microsoft, Excel, Word, Minitab ou autre logiciel statistique, MS Project. La connaissance et l'experience de l'utilisation des systemes ERP SAP sont un plus.
  • Experience en gestion de projets et en gouvernance des systemes.
  • Solides competences en influence et capacite a diriger le programme BCOS sans autorite hierarchique formelle.
  • Excellentes competences en ecoute et motivation. Aptitude a enseigner, coacher et developper les talents.
  • Niveau avance en anglais (pour interagir avec les collegues et partenaires en dehors du Canada)

About the role: 

We are looking for a Manufacturing excellence manager to drive our change agenda, leading to full implementation of BCOS (Barry Callebaut Operating System) at site level in-line with regional/site Master Plan. The role focuses on development of site BCOS work processes capabilities to deliver BIC results in line with BC 'Go for ZERO' vision. The site manufacturing excellence manager will guide and support site leaders, middle management, and core teams to implement all pillars work processes to deliver expected site goals and results.

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Support the revision, implementation and coaching to deploy pillar work processes;
  • Lead site process of target setting and deployment (hoshin planning);
  • Guarantee all KPIs are reported in the system and on time;
  • Generate intelligence to support actions that continuously improve site performance across the balanced score card;
  • Guarantee RCA activities involving plant leads and designated area members for all KPIs to drive to target;
  • Coordinate daily routine activities (team board meetings hourly, daily etc.) and operational review meetings on a monthly basis;
  • Make visible to the entire supply chain, the losses opportunities creating a map of losses and site productivity pipeline;
  • Be the representative of the sites' program implementation for the local management team and broader BC organization;
  • Play a leading role on developing and deploying/adoption of MES and other site digital initiatives in line with I4.0 strategy;
  • Deploy regular self-assessment using the BCOS Health check tools - and build action plan to close gaps versus site Master Plan;
  • Promote internal and external benchmark exercises, looking for opportunities to improve local site performance.


About you:

  • Bachelor / Master degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Food);
  • 5 to 10 years of manufacturing experience ;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in implementing Continuous Improvement process, such as: TPM,  Lean Supply Chain principles and tools and/or Six Sigma;
  • Extensive background or skill set in: IWS (Integrated Work Systems), WCM (World Class Manufacturing) or Leading Transformation;
  • Experience in working and leading initiatives in multicultural environment;
  • Extensive software capability including Microsoft environment, Excel, Word, Minitab or other statistical software and MS Project. Knowledge and experience on use of SAP ERP systems is seen as a desirable skill;
  • Experience of project management and governance systems. 
  • Strong influencing skills, ability to direct the BCOS program without formal authority over organization leaders;
  • Great listening skills and motivator. Ability to teach/ coach others and develop talents;
  • Advanced level of english language proficiency  (to interact with colleagues and partners abroad).
