POSITION SUMMARY
The Cluster Director of Learning and Development is responsible for delivering, designing, and implementing Learning and Training initiatives that drive performance to extraordinary levels based on the Montage and Pendry Vision, Mission, and Values. Cluster Director of Learning will create a professional and inspiring Learning culture engaging Associates and leaders to communicate and collaborate providing memorable guest experiences. Perfecting the basics, delivering exceptional service and creating Wow's ensuring Montage and Pendry are the resorts | hotels of choice. Create and deliver Leadership Development programs to grow talent, motivate leaders, develop meaningful relationships, and support a talent-based organization through trust and accountability. Support and build rapport with property Leadership teams through business acumen and creative problem solving to drive the properties business performance, desired outcomes and expected results.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Learning and Development or Hospitality working in operational roles

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to travel, fly, drive and have reliable transportation. May be away from home for extended periods of time. Most work tasks are performed indoors, may be required to be outdoors for periods of times in varying temperatures - hot and cold. Inside, temperature is moderate and controlled by property environmental systems. Must be able to sit at a desk for up to 5 hours per day. Walking and standing up to 8 hours per day. Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach other departments walking around the hotel/resort, upstairs and down long hallways on a timely basis. Must be able to lift 20 lbs. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity. Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with Associates, peers and leaders.
