Job description

A leading integrated healthcare organization in southwest Missouri is seeking a BE/BC Oncology Program Director to serve as a strategic and clinical leader for its growing cancer service line, combining active medical oncology practice with system-wide program development and multidisciplinary leadership.


Position Highlights:

  • Executive clinical leadership role overseeing oncology program strategy and growth
  • Maintain active clinical practice in Hematology/Oncology
  • Develop long-term oncology vision aligned with health system strategy
  • Expand disease-site programs across solid tumor and hematologic malignancies
  • Lead integration of medical, surgical, and radiation oncology services
  • Guide quality initiatives, clinical pathways, and NCCN-aligned care standards
  • Oversee tumor boards and multidisciplinary care coordination
  • Drive expansion of clinical trials, including investigator-initiated and commercial studies
  • Support development of advanced therapies including cellular therapy and CAR-T pathways
  • Integrate precision medicine, biomarker testing, and molecular profiling into clinical practice
  • Lead physician recruitment, onboarding, mentorship, and retention strategies of hematology/oncology physicians
  • Represent oncology program to internal leadership and external medical community
  • Build and maintain academic and research partnerships
