OB/GYN Hospitalist & Site Director Opportunities

Springfield, Missouri - Mercy Hospital Springfield

Compensation: $210/hr base rate with sign-on bonuses available for full-time physicians.

Ob Hospitalist Group is seeking OB/GYN physicians to join established, high-acuity hospitalist programs in Springfield, Missouri. Opportunities are available for both traditional OB/GYN Hospitalists and Site Director leadership roles.

These programs offer the ability to focus exclusively on inpatient women's healthcare while enjoying flexible scheduling, strong physician support, and excellent work/life balance.

What Does an OB/GYN Hospitalist Do:

  • Care for all pregnant women presenting emergently

  • Support private practice physicians and unassigned patients

  • Deliver babies and perform gynecologic procedures/surgeries

  • Provide emergency department consultations

  • Collaborate with nursing teams and specialists

  • Participate in patient safety initiatives and quality improvement efforts

  • Mentor residents, medical students, and nursing staff
