ABOUT OUR AGENCY:Our agency opened in 1990 and has grown into a team of five who are passionate about serving our customers and community. Before becoming a State Farm agent, I worked in education, which helped shape my leadership style and passion for mentoring and developing others.
I'm a second-generation State Farm agent and hold a bachelor's degree from Eastern Kentucky University and a master's degree from Georgetown College. I'm honored to have received the Henrietta Cleveland Inspiring Women Award.
Giving back to the community is incredibly important to me, and I stay actively involved through the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, the St. Elizabeth Healthcare Foundation Committee, Williamstown Kiwanis, ACS Relay for Life, and as President of the Grant County High School Alumni Association.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As a Customer Service Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member with Carolyn Thomas-Thompson - State Farm Agent, you will generate the kind of exceptional customer experiences that reinforce the growth of a successful insurance agency. Your attention to detail, customer service skills, and desire to help people make you a fit. You will enhance your career while resolving customer inquiries, coordinating with other agency team members, and anticipating the needs of the community members you support.
We look forward to connecting with you if you are the customer-focused and empathetic team member we are searching for. We anticipate internal growth opportunities for especially driven and sales-minded candidates.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Answer customer inquiries and provide policy information.
  • Assist customers with policy changes and updates.
  • Process insurance claims and follow up with customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.

Compensation: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
