Job Title: Insurance Operations & Broker Support Specialist

If you’re someone who thrives in hypergrowth—where priorities move quickly and structure is built alongside scale—this is your opportunity to help define how an insurance agency operates as it grows.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-directed Insurance Operations & Broker Support Specialist to strengthen the operational foundation of our growing insurance agency. This role partners closely with insurance producers, General Agent (GA) partners, and carrier representatives to support accurate quoting, maintain licensing compliance, and manage carrier appointments, access, and commissions.

Operating in a hypergrowth environment, this position plays a critical role in executing day-to-day operational responsibilities while helping build scalable processes and standards to support rapid and sustainable growth.

This position requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and operate effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with producers and GA partners to support insurance quotes, plan comparisons, and client-ready proposals.
  • Manage multi-state licensing, including applications, renewals, and ongoing compliance tracking.
  • Ensure producers are appropriately onboarded and enabled with required carrier appointments, system access, and operational tools.
  • Coordinate and manage carrier appointments and onboarding, maintaining strong and professional relationships.
  • Track, project, and reconcile commissions and payment schedules; research and resolve discrepancies as needed.
  • Develop, document, and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and scalable workflows.
  • Identify operational gaps and recommend or implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and growth.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as business needs evolve.

What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days

  • Producers are fully onboarded with appropriate carrier and system access.
  • Licensing is organized, current, and proactively managed across all applicable states.
  • Carrier appointment and onboarding processes are clearly defined and consistently executed.
  • Commission tracking and reporting is accurate, timely, and transparent.
  • Foundational SOPs are established, creating structure and consistency across operations.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–6+ years of experience in insurance operations, brokerage support, or agency administration.
  • Proven experience supporting carrier relationships, licensing, and commission processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and build structure in a fast-paced or growth-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Excel, and industry platforms such as Sircon, Employee Navigator, and Zywave.
  • Strong communication skills and a high level of professionalism when working with internal and external partners.
  • Ownership mindset—takes initiative, follows through, and drives work to completion.
