Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Nursing (DNS) to lead our nursing team and oversee clinical operations within our skilled nursing facility. The DNS Director of Nursing is a strong leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a positive, team-oriented environment. we are looking for a Director of nursing DNS that will be a leader in our 5 star SNF. this is a great environment with lots of longevity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and oversight to all nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality resident care in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Oversee clinical operations, staffing, scheduling, and performance management
  • Monitor and improve quality measures, infection control, and patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and administration
  • Lead surveys and ensure ongoing survey readiness
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Manage budgets, staffing levels, and resource allocation effectively

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in [State]
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting
