Job description

About Us
Fieldguide is establishing a new state of trust for global commerce and capital markets through automating and streamlining the work of assurance and audit practitioners specifically within cybersecurity, privacy, and financial audit. Put simply, we build software for the people who enable trust between businesses.
We're based in San Francisco, CA, but built as a remote-first company that enables you to do your best work from anywhere. We're backed by top investors including Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives, Bessemer Venture Partners, 8VC, Floodgate, Y Combinator, DNX Ventures, Global Founders Capital, Justin Kan, Elad Gil, and more.
We value diversity - in backgrounds and in experiences. We need people from all backgrounds and walks of life to help build the future of audit and advisory. Fieldguide's team is inclusive, driven, humble and supportive. We are deliberate and self-reflective about the kind of team and culture that we are building, seeking teammates that are not only strong in their own aptitudes but care deeply about supporting each other's growth.
As an early stage start-up employee, you'll have the opportunity to build out the future of business trust. We make audit practitioners' lives easier by bringing together up to 50% of their work and giving them better work-life balance. If you share our values and enthusiasm for building a great culture and product, you will find a home at Fieldguide.
About the Role:
As an Implementation Analyst at Fieldguide, you will be an integral member of our go-to-market team, working directly alongside Implementation Consultants and the broader Go-To-Market organization to drive successful customer adoption of our platform.
Reporting to our Senior Manager of Implementation, you will play a hands-on role in onboarding customers onto Fieldguide - configuring their environments, migrating their data, and ensuring every detail is right so customers can realize value quickly. You'll work alongside Agentic powered tools that are transforming how audit and advisory firms operate, giving you front-row exposure to the future of this industry.
This is an early-career role designed as a launchpad into implementation consulting. As you build deeper product expertise and client relationships, you'll grow into an Implementation Consultant position with increasing ownership of the end-to-end customer journey.
Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Salt Lake City. The role will begin as fully remote, with plans to transition to a hybrid work arrangement as we establish a local office and continue building our Utah hub.
What You'll Do:
  • Set customers up for success. Configure customer environments - including engagement templates, user roles, and permissions - to ensure a smooth day-one experience.
  • Own data migration. Execute data migration and setup tasks (e.g., importing trial balances, control matrices, mapping fields, validating configurations) so customers can go live on schedule.
  • Turn requirements into reality. Translate documented requirements into system configurations under the guidance of senior implementation team members, building your expertise with every project.
  • Leverage vibe coding agents. Build and use AI-powered "vibe coding" agents to accelerate configuration tasks, automate repetitive setup work, and prototype solutions quickly.
  • Be the quality gatekeeper. Perform quality assurance checks to ensure setups meet client specifications and internal best practices before anything reaches the customer.
  • Drive issues to resolution. Support testing cycles, document issues clearly, and coordinate fixes with internal teams (Support, Product, Engineering) to keep implementations on track.
  • Support seamless go-lives. Assist with go-live preparation - including final configuration reviews, documentation updates, and post-launch support - to help customers cross the finish line with confidence.
  • Build client exposure. Join customer calls alongside senior consultants to observe client interactions and progressively take on direct client communication as you develop.

About You:
  • Hands-on experience with 2+ years in technology consulting, customer onboarding, implementation, or similar, at a top management consulting firm (preferred) or high-growth startup, with familiarity manipulating, transforming, and translating data between systems or formats.
  • You bring strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, especially when working across repetitive or manual configuration tasks.
  • You have an analytical mindset with comfort working with AI agents, spreadsheets, structured data, and systems.
  • You take ownership of assigned workstreams and drive them to completion, proactively flagging blockers and proposing solutions.
  • You are a team player and mission-first. You're joining a hard-working team that trusts each other deeply. We won't compromise on this.
  • You communicate clearly in writing and verbally, follow documented processes, and ask thoughtful clarifying questions when something isn't right.
  • You're comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-facing SaaS environment with multiple concurrent projects.
  • You have a genuine interest in audit, risk advisory, or professional services. Prior industry experience is helpful but not required - curiosity and willingness to learn are what matter most.
