Job description

Lead and coordinate the Facilities and Engineering departments, as well as Housekeeping, Laundry, and Public Areas operations, ensuring efficient performance and the comprehensive maintenance of the hotel's facilities, guest rooms, and equipment. Responsible for the strategic management of budgets, cost control, capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects, preventive and corrective maintenance programs, resource optimization, energy efficiency initiatives, and compliance with quality, safety, and service standards, ensuring an exceptional experience for both guests and colleagues.

Qualifications
  • More than 5 years of experience leading Facilities and Engineering operations in hotels, resorts, corporate environments, or large-scale buildings.
  • Experience managing preventive and corrective maintenance programs for buildings, facilities, and guest rooms.
  • Experience managing operating budgets and capital investment projects (CAPEX).
  • Experience in vendor management, maintenance contracts, and renovation/remodeling projects.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Experience developing and implementing energy-saving strategies.
  • Knowledge of and compliance with safety, hygiene, and civil protection regulations.
  • Experience managing inventories, tools, spare parts, and supplies.
  • Ability to monitor and manage maintenance, productivity, and service performance indicators.
  • Experience in cost control and optimization of operational resources.
