TheSenior Director - HR, Commercial Bioprocess & Global Strategic Accounts - USCAN is responsible for partnering with senior commercial leadership to shape and execute people strategies that support a large commercial business across USCAN. Through strategic leadership of organization design, talent development, succession planning, engagement, and culture initiatives, the role enables sustainable revenue growth, drives organizational effectiveness, and helps position the business for long-term competitive success.

This position reports to the VP, Human Resources - Operations and will be based onsite in Marlborough, Massachusetts.

What you will do:

  • Serve as a Strategic Partner to Commercial Leadership Partner with M5 leaders and their organizations across a multi-billion-dollar commercial portfolio to shape business strategy, organizational capability, operating models, and talent decisions that accelerate growth, strengthen competitive advantage, and deliver unambiguous share gain.
  • Lead the Commercial Talent Agenda for the Region Own the end-to-end talent strategy for the commercial organization, driving talent reviews, succession planning, leadership pipelines, and development actions that ensure a strong bench of ready-now leaders for both commercial and enterprise-critical roles.
  • Shape the Future Organization Lead organizational design, workforce planning, leadership effectiveness, and sales force capability initiatives to ensure the organization remains agile and competitive in an environment characterized by rapid, unpredictable, paradoxical, and increasingly complex market dynamics.
  • Embed DBS and Continuous Improvement Thinking Champion a culture of continuous improvement by applying DBS principles, disciplined problem solving, Gemba learning, and talent-centric Kaizen approaches to strengthen people, processes, and business performance while keeping the customer promise at the center of every decision.
  • Lead HR's Contribution to Strategic Commercial Priorities Act as a visible leader across critical business mechanisms and priorities, including GSA PD, PD4PD, Growth Rooms, Talent Action Reviews, SCRs, Forecast Reviews, Budget Planning, capability-building initiatives, engagement reviews, and organization effectiveness efforts - shaping outcomes, not simply supporting them.
  • Influence, Coach, and Elevate Leaders. Serve as a trusted coach and advisor to senior leaders, providing challenge, perspective, and candid counsel that improves leadership effectiveness, strengthens organizational health, and prepares leaders for increasingly complex enterprise responsibilities

Who you are:

  • A well-rounded HR experience with minimum 10+ years as HR Business partner with a relevant qualification. Experience supporting sales organization will be preferred.
  • A business-first HR leader who understands commercial drivers, growth levers, and market dynamics, and can translate business strategy into talent and organizational outcomes.
  • An exceptional influencer and strategic partner who can challenge, shape, and align senior leaders without direct authority while building trusted relationships across global and regional leadership teams.
  • A talent shaper, not a talent reporter, with a proven ability to identify, develop, deploy, and elevate leadership talent through rigorous assessment, succession, and coaching practices.
  • A coach to senior leaders, capable of accelerating leadership effectiveness, navigating complexity, and helping leaders grow into larger enterprise roles.
  • A strong organizational architect, comfortable leading complex organization design, change, capability-building, and culture interventions in fast-evolving business environments.
  • A highly credible executive communicator, able to influence across levels, facilitate high-stakes discussions, and represent HR with confidence in visible commercial forums and enterprise reviews

The salary range for this role is $230,000-$280,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for incentive pay.

We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
