Overview

As the RN Clinical Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Agency and will supervise home health services for patients in accordance with physician orders and strive to provide the highest quality of care. The RN Clinical Director is responsible for home health clinical services in-house with a focus on OASIS pre-review, review and clinical documentation oversight. 


As the RN Clinical Director, you will review individual patient medical record/Plan of Care for compliance with Medicare, Medicaid and Managed Care regulations and company policies, making recommendations for improvements. The position facilitates recommendations and modifications to clinical documentation through concurrent interaction with physicians, verbally and electronically, and other members of the health care team to ensure a complete medical record/Plan of Care is in place to support individual outcomes-based care plans, and timely coding and OASIS submission guidelines. In this role, the RN Clinical Director also hires, reviews, and directs staff in performance of home health agency duties to include admissions, discharge and provision of service to patients.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse educational program
  • Registered Nurse / RN licensed in the state of Georgia
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in home health
  • Home health OASIS experience required 
  • Knowledge of Medicare regulations related to documentation and clinical outcomes management for home health
  • MS Office basic to intermediate skill set; electronic medical record (EMR) experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact in a positive manner with clinical team members, physicians and external contacts
  • Proficient in organization, planning and execution to ensure quality and productivity in work effort
  • strong business acumen and facilitation skills
