Job description

The Elevator Pitch

Evolv's mission is to help make places safer for people to live, work, learn, and play.ย We help organizations detect potential threats, mitigate risk, and enhance safety using AI-powered security solutions, connected analytics, and practical insights that support real-world security operations.ย

We are looking for a global product marketing leaderย who can make Evolv's value unmistakable across products, markets, and regions. This role will turn complex product capabilities, performance proof points, customer outcomes, and competitive intelligence into clear, compelling stories that help buyers understand why Evolv wins and help the sales team win more often.ย

ย The Director, Global Productย Marketingย will help define the next chapter of product marketing at Evolv. The role is anchored in three core areas of responsibility: core product marketing, new product/GTM strategy, and global expansion. You will own positioning, messaging, launch strategy, product proof, and market expansion narratives for a growing portfolio of AI-powered security solutions, helping customers, partners, analysts, and sellers understand Evolv's value in existing and emerging markets.ย

Success in the Role: Performance Outcomesย

In the first 30 days, you will:

  • Build relationships with Sales, Product Management, Customer Success, Support, Legal/Compliance, Marketing, and regional stakeholders to understand business priorities, product roadmap, market opportunities, and global expansion needs.ย
  • Immerse yourself in the Evolv portfolio, including Express,ย eXpedite,ย MyEvolv, Insights, integrations, and emerging products, to understand customer value,ย adoptionย drivers, and expansion opportunities.ย
  • Audit current messaging, positioning, competitive assets, product proof, launch materials, website content, and regional enablement needs toย identifyย opportunities to strengthen differentiation and support growth.ย
  • Developย an initialย view of buyer journeys, customer expansion paths, new product commercialization needs, competitive dynamics, global market requirements, and key gaps in the current go-to-market strategy.ย
  • Align with Marketing and Product leadership on product marketing priorities, operating rhythms, success metrics, and expectations across the three core areas of responsibility.ย

Within 90 days, you will:

  • Deliver recommended updates to Evolv's messaging and positioningย frameworkย so it clearly communicates value across core products, new offerings, integrations, analytics, AI-powered capabilities, and customer outcomes.ย
  • Establish a stronger core product marketing operating rhythm for messaging, proof-point development, competitive enablement, sales readiness, claims governance, and buyer education.ย
  • Create a scalable GTM process for new product launches, feature releases, integrations, solution packaging, and cross-functional commercialization planning.ย
  • Build the foundation for globalย expansionย messaging and enablement, including market-specific narratives, seller/partner assets, buyer questions, proof needs, and regional feedback loops.ย

Within 12 months, you will:

  • Establish Product Marketing as a strategic growth function that influences portfolio strategy, product adoption, customer expansion, global market entry, and market leadership.ย
  • Build andย maintainย a robust library of customer proof points, competitive insights, analyst perspectives, launch assets, global expansion narratives, and outcome-based messaging thatย supportsย sellers, executives, partners, and marketers.ย
  • Lead go-to-market strategy and commercialization for major product launches, portfolio innovations, and priority expansion opportunities.ย
  • Drive measurable improvements in seller readiness, launch effectiveness, competitive positioning, asset adoption, multi-product growth, and global market enablement.ย
  • Help strengthen Evolv's position from a category-defining security screening provider to a broader AI-powered security technology platform through compelling storytelling, customer evidence, and successful product adoption.ย
  • Contribute to revenue growth by improving sales confidence, competitive win rates, buyer education, expansion readiness, and marketย perceptionย of Evolv as a category leader.ย
The Work: Core Responsibilities

Core Product Marketingย

  • Own Evolv's core product and portfolio positioning across product, vertical, buyer-persona, and expansion narratives, ensuring a clear and consistent story across hardware, software, analytics, AI-powered capabilities, integrations, and future offerings.ย
  • Translate technical capability into clear, proactive, compliance-aware claims that are easy for sellers, executives, media, partners, and buyers to repeat.ย
  • Build andย maintainย buyer-ready proof assets, including performance briefs, testing summaries, integration briefs, verticalized brochures, customer proof, analyst-ready explanations, and evaluation guides.ย
  • Create andย maintainย competitive battlecards, comparison frameworks, objection-handling guidance, win/loss summaries, and sales plays that move conversations from reactive defense to confident differentiation.ย
  • Partner with Product, Sales, BD, Solutions, Customer Success, Communications, and Legal/Compliance toย identifyย proof gaps, buyer questions, procurement friction, and opportunities to strengthen claims and enablement.ย

New Product & GTM Strategyย

  • Lead go-to-market strategy and commercialization planning for new products, feature releases, integrations, solution packaging, and priority portfolio expansion initiatives.ย
  • Create a repeatable GTM playbook that aligns Product Management, Demand Gen, Field Marketing, BD, Sales, Customer Marketing, Communications, and Customer Success around launch goals, messages, assets, training, and measures of success.ย
  • Turn product roadmap priorities, customer feedback, demos, operator workflows, and product requirements into launch narratives, campaign hooks, readiness materials, FAQs, and sales enablement.ย
  • Develop adoption and expansion messaging that helps existing customers understand the value ofย additionalย products, capabilities, and workflow enhancements across the Evolv portfolio.ย
  • Create feedback loops to evaluate asset adoption, seller confidence, buyer response, competitive impact, product adoption, and revenue contribution.ย

Financial Process and System Improvement

  • Partner with Accounting and Finance to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable NetSuite solutions.
  • Improve workflows across areas such as order-to-cash, revenue recognition, billing, fixed assets, procure-to-pay, intercompany activity, and financial reporting.
  • Create or improve workflows, reports, saved searches, dashboards, and system controls.
  • Evaluate enhancement requests and recommend the most effective solution using native NetSuite functionality, workflow automation, integration, or customization.
  • Train users and develop documentation that supports consistent, controlled system use.
Leadership, Team Structure & Culture

You will report to our Chief Marketing Officer,ย and currently manage one direct report.ย You will work closely with Product Management, Sales, Business Development, Customer Success, Communications, regional stakeholders, and Legal/Compliance.ย The team culture is based on trust, collaboration, accountability, curiosity, and productive urgency. We value people who simplify complexity, challenge assumptions, listen carefully to the field, and take pride in helping the company win the right way.ย
