The Director of Global Product Marketing is responsible for leading the worldwide strategy and performance of a designated product category. This role oversees pipeline planning, global marketing initiatives, product launches, and the development of marketing collateral and training support. Working cross-functionally with regional marketing, product development, training, and market insights teams, the Director ensures the creation of cohesive launch packages built on strong, validated customer value propositions. The position is ultimately focused on driving global market share growth, increasing profitability, and supporting sales performance for PENTAX Medical.
Responsibilities of Director, Global Marketing:
  • Lead the development and execution of global marketing strategies to drive revenue growth, strengthen market positioning, and expand business opportunities based on competitive analysis, pricing, and market dynamics.
  • Provide actionable market insights to inform Global Product Development and R&D, ensuring alignment with evolving customer needs and future pipeline priorities.
  • Design and implement comprehensive global product launch strategies, including targeted advertising, promotional initiatives, and segmentation planning for successful market adoption.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Global Marketing, Regional Marketing, and MarCom teams to develop compelling customer value propositions, impactful marketing materials, and integrated digital campaigns that ensure consistent branding and a strong customer experience.
  • Ensure all marketing communications adhere to corporate brand standards, quality systems, and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements of Director, Global Marketing:
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, life sciences, engineering or related technical discipline required. MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of product marketing, product management, and/or product specialist experience required. Additional sales experience is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in medical device, life sciences or biotech industry preferred. Past gastroenterology, endoscopy, or pulmonology experience a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt changing priorities.
  • Highest levels of personal and professional integrity.
  • Excellent track record in establishing solid business relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong professional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Domestic and international travel of up to 50% required.
