Job description

StevenDouglas has been engaged on a fantastic Director level role within the OTC (Order to Cash) function in the Washington, DC area. This is a hybrid working environment (3/2.)


**This is an incredible career opportunity to build a critical function from the ground up with a high degree of visibility and impact in a scaling SaaS company.**


Reporting to the VP, this individual will lead and build the Company's end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) function from scratch at a high-growth SaaS company. This encompasses owning the full lifecycle from quoting to cash collection while driving automation, scalability, and strong financial controls.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own OTC end-to-end: Design and standardize processes across quoting, billing, revenue recognition, and collections
  • Build & optimize systems: Improve and integrate tools
  • Drive automation: Replace manual workflows with scalable, system-driven solutions
  • Support business growth: Enable new products, pricing models, and revenue streams
  • Establish controls: Implement SOX-ready frameworks and define key KPIs
  • Lead cross-functional alignment: Partner with Sales, Finance, Revenue Ops, and Tech to unify operations
  • Continuous improvement: Identify inefficiencies, run root-cause analysis, and implement fixes


Requirements:

  • 10+ years in finance, accounting, or operations (5+ in OTC leadership)
  • CPA/MBA preferred
  • SaaS experience with subscription billing & ASC 606 revenue recognition
  • Proven track record leading OTC transformation projects
  • Experience with ERP/finance systems (NetSuite, Salesforce, billing tools)
  • Strong internal controls and SOX knowledge
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives globally
