$82,160.00 - $123,240.00

This role will serve as a key business intelligence partner to Supply Chain leadership, with a primary focus on delivering actionable insights across supply chain activity. Data sources that will be leveraged include General Ledger (GL), purchase orders (PO), and inventory detail.

A Brief Overview
The Business Intelligence Developer will work in a multi-disciplinary Data and Analytics team made up of Clinical Intelligence, Data Engineering, Data Science, and Strategy/Integration experts to extract valuable insights from data, enhancing decision-making processes within the organization. Primary responsibility will be to leverage PowerBI, Slicer Dicer, Tableau, etc. for visualizing the insights to translate complex data sets into intuitive and actionable visual representations. Additionally, this position will work closely with data engineering team to ensure seamless flow of data to support the organization's business related needs utilizing tools such as SQL, Python, etc.
What you will do

  • Data Visualization: Develop compelling and insightful visualizations using PowerBI and Epic's visualization tool to effectively communicate complex healthcare data trends, patterns, and key performance indicators to facilitate informed decision-making among various stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Senior/Lead Developers and other internal team members to understand their data needs within the ecosystem.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement within healthcare operations and internal processes by utilizing automation and optimizing workflows.
  • Data Integrity Assurance: Take a proactive role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of the datasets in partnership with key stakeholders and the data engineering team. The data utilized must be clean, validated, and maintain the level of consistency required for robust analytics and reporting.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard department process, frameworks, and practices as a technical subject matter expert. Ability to troubleshoot and investigate any validation issues encountered and develop a solution. Document and maintain clear and organized record for data sources, process, etc.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner closely Senior/Lead Developers and with other functions within the Data & Analytics organization to integrate data sources, share expertise, and collectively generate comprehensive insights that contribute to the overall strategic objectives of the organization.
  • Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Willingness to learn and develop skills. Provide guidance, feedback and support to team. Collaborate across teams by sharing insights and resources to drive collective success.

Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's in computer science, analytics, mathematics, business or related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:

  • Knowledge of healthcare finance, revenue cycle, human resources, supply chain, or related field.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Python.
  • Experience developing operational dashboards using PowerBI, Slicer Dicer, Tableau, or similar tool.
  • Healthcare experience, preference to Epic (Electronic Health Record system).
