Job description

We are looking for an EPIC - Business Intelligence Developer to support a healthcare organization’s analytics efforts in Missouri. In this role, you will create meaningful reporting solutions within the Epic ecosystem, helping teams use data to improve operational and clinical decision-making. This opportunity combines hands-on technical development with close collaboration across business and healthcare stakeholders, offering strong visibility and room for career growth.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop reporting solutions, dashboards, and analytic outputs using Epic data platforms such as Clarity, Caboodle, and related reporting tools.
• Work closely with operational and business partners to gather reporting needs and convert them into practical, data-driven deliverables.
• Produce both scheduled and on-demand analysis that supports informed decision-making across the organization.
• Maintain and enhance automated reporting processes to improve reliability, efficiency, and access to key metrics.
• Support data governance practices by contributing to reporting standards, documentation, and analytics catalog organization.
• Configure, refine, and optimize Epic Cogito tools to strengthen reporting performance and usability.
• Analyze source data and reporting logic to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with stakeholder expectations.
• Contribute to analytics support related to organizational changes or evolving data processes when needed.• At least 2 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data warehousing roles.
• Hands-on experience with Epic reporting tools, including Cogito, Clarity, and Caboodle.
• Strong ability to build reports and interpret data for business or operational audiences.
• Experience translating user needs into technical reporting and analytic solutions.
• Working knowledge of data visualization and reporting best practices.
• Familiarity with Epic environments and related modules used for enterprise reporting.
• Epic certification in Cogito, Clarity, or Caboodle is preferred, or willingness to pursue certification.
