Job description

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a high-performing, consultative Professional Services Software Seller to drive enterprise-level professional services revenue for the ELERA Point of Sale platform, a modern microservices-based POS solution designed for the evolving needs of the retail industry.

This is a strategic, quota-carrying role responsible for identifying, shaping, and closing complex software services opportunities with enterprise retail customers. The ideal candidate will partner closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams to develop tailored professional services solutions that deliver measurable business value while ensuring successful project execution.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in professional services sales, solution selling, or enterprise software sales.
  • Proven success selling complex professional services solutions within enterprise environments, preferably in retail or POS technology.
  • Strong understanding of the software delivery lifecycle, including custom software development, microservices, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience engaging and influencing C-suite executives and senior IT/business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated expertise in proposal development, pricing strategy, statement of work (SOW) creation, and contract negotiation.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from opportunity qualification through contract execution.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with retail technology, point-of-sale (POS) platforms, or cloud-native software solutions.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies, DevOps practices, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced, high-growth software or SaaS organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and grow a pipeline of professional services opportunities supporting the ELERA POS platform.
  • Lead customer discovery sessions to identify business requirements, define service opportunities, and position value-based solutions.
  • Develop customized proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), pricing models, and service offerings aligned with customer objectives and platform capabilities.
  • Partner with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Delivery teams to translate customer requirements into executable professional services engagements.
  • Present, position, and negotiate professional services solutions with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and technical decision-makers.
  • Manage the complete sales lifecycle from initial qualification through contract close and successful transition to delivery teams.
  • Achieve or exceed assigned professional services revenue and quota targets.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity pipeline, forecasting, and sales activity within CRM and internal business systems.
  • Support customer RFP responses and contribute to proposal best practices, reusable content, and sales playbooks.
