Job description

We are looking for a skilled drywall finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years experience in the drywall industry. This role will require experience with mudding, taping, sanding, and finishing surfaces with up to a level 5 finish, and/or the ability to match unique textures. Most of our jobs deal with residential clients so high levels of customer service, punctuality, and communication are essential to give our clients the best possible experience and product.

Responsibilities

  • Must follow directions on schedule to reach jobsites on time
  • Ability to work independently and without supervision
  • Wear provided foot protection before entering any customer’s home
  • Communicate confidently with customers about timeline and steps needed to complete each project
  • Ensure the jobsite is masked properly and prepared to leave customers with a clean home
  • Install sheets of drywall, install patches, apply joint compound or hot mud, embed tape, sand, and apply smooth finishes or unique texture matches.
  • Communicate promptly with customers and management if any issues arise
  • Complete basic construction related tasks such as nonstructural framing, caulking, and light fixture disassembly and reassembly

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the drywall industry, preferably residential
  • Ability to lift full sheets of 5/8” drywall and buckets of drywall joint compound around jobsites
  • Matching orange peel, knockdown, skip trowel, and various other textures.
  • Candidates must have their own transportation and tools, some specialty materials may be provided such as large sprayers and scaffolding
  • All persons hired will be required to verify identity their eligibility to work in the United States
  • Ability to pass a full background check and drug screenings if required
