The Opportunity:
Mersive is seeking a candidate to fulfill the Regional Sales Director role to lead our sales efforts in the Northeast. You will join a fast-paced team that is disrupting a traditionally hardware driven market with our wireless collaboration software. You will work with our channel partners to represent our products to both Enterprise and Education market descended. In this role, you will help our clients make the workplace more collaborative and engaging.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Identify, and market to new and existing customers in the region in conjunction with Mersive's authorized channel partners
• Recruit, manage and support Mersive's channel program
• Achieve or exceed revenue objectives
• Document and report on all sales activities including sales forecast, pipeline, trial and demo requests, and partner activities
• Work cooperatively with management, product development, marketing, support and finance to share information and act as an effective Mersive liaison for customers and partners in the region.
• Perform 'light' technical and logistical support for customer demos, conferences and trade show events
• Travel will be required
Required Qualifications/Experience
• Candidates must be located in the Northeast region - preferably NY or NJ
• 10-12 years sales and business development experience in A/V, or enterprise collaboration sales
• Demonstrable track record in building and managing partner relationships - including resellers, integrators and consultants
• Technology experience in digital switching and control, distributed networks, TCP/IP, unified communications
• Candidate must have remote reporting experience
• Proven experience with nascent markets and technologies
Desired Qualifications/Experience
• Business or technical degree in engineering or computer science
• Industry certifications
• Experience with collaboration software products
• Prior experience working for venture backed, start-up stage companies
