OverviewCorpay is currently looking to hire a Director of Strategic Sales within our Corporate Payments division, which provides a comprehensive suite of online B2B payment solutions from AP automation to commercial expense cards and bill payment. This position falls under our Payables line of business and is remote for someone living in New York City. In this role, you will be responsible for finding new opportunities and increasing revenue production within an assigned territory.
You will report directly to the Vice President of Sales and regularly collaborate with the Corpay field sales team.Working ArrangementsAs a Director of Strategic Sales, you will be expected to work in a virtual environment.Corpay Will Set You Up For Success By ProvidingCompany-issued equipment + remote accessMonthly home internet stipendsRole ResponsibilitiesDrive new business growth by selling solutions to mid-market & large market accounts based within a specified market.Research and understand the prospective client's business goals, objectives, and challengesAbility to communicate recommendations effectively to the appropriate level of leadership within a prospective companyPropose solutions of our suite of products to deliver quantifiable business value through an integrated relationshipCommunicate accurate and timely forecasts to multiple layers of leadership both internally and externallyPreparation of and execution to sales plans, events, campaignsDeliver strong performance against required sales/revenue targetsQualifications & SkillsA Bachelor\'s Degree preferred5+ years of direct consultative selling; knows how to fill a pipeline and can show a track record of solid results against goals/planMust live in New York CityExperience selling to or managing all levels of relationships with corporate clients in the banking or finance industry preferredA passion for the activity needed to excel - making one more phone call, one more visit, etcExcellent verbal, written, interpersonal, relationship building, and presentation skillsStrong organizational, interpersonal, and time management skillsKnowledge of commercial payments and services, or ERP software preferredThe ability to travel extensively throughout the territoryCompensationThis salary range is provided for locations which require such disclosure. Where a position or applicant may fall in a particular wage range varies depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications (if applicable), and other business and organization needs. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic markets.
