The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Communications Director to manage a high-performing team and drive global digital marketing content strategy across our digital marketing channels. This role combines hands-on leadership with strong digital marketing expertise to ensure cohesive, compelling, and measurable communications that support business goals. He / she will also disseminate and champion best practices and optimization of digital marketing strategies and tactics as tools evolve, particularly gen-AI-based tools and platforms.

What You'll Work On

Team Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of digital marketing communications professionals
  • Set clear priorities, provide actionable feedback, and ensure high-quality, on-time delivery of digital marketing content as global baselines
  • Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous skill development across the team
  • Partner with resource managers and leadership on capacity planning and hiring needs

Digital Strategy & Planning

  • Own the global digital marketing communications content strategy and calendar across priority channels (e.g. web, email, paid media, social, customer relationship and campaign platforms), including digital customer journeys
  • Translate business objectives into integrated digital marketing plans and campaign roadmaps
  • Ensure messaging and experiences are optimized for audience, channel, and journey stage and are compliant, as applicable
  • Champion a data-driven mindset, using performance insights to refine strategy and global baselines
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Commercial teams on digital best practices and performance
  • Influence Commercial team execution of digital marketing content to ensure alignment to business and customer needs
  • Align digital marketing execution with brand, PR, and other global marketing communications teams

Emerging Tools & GenAI Optimization (Add These Bullets)

  • Leverage emerging digital marketing tools, including genAI-based platforms, to optimize content creation, campaign optimization, personalization, and operational efficiency across global markets
  • Partner with analytics, marketing technology, and other applicable teams to evaluate, pilot, and scale AI-enabled solutions that enhance speed to market while maintaining brand quality, governance, and compliance
  • Champion a test-and-learn approach to automation, AI-assisted insights, and workflow optimization to continuously improve digital performance and team productivity at scale

Performance, Optimization & Governance

  • Define success metrics and KPIs for digital marketing efforts
  • Establish and maintain best practices, guidelines, and workflows for digital execution
  • Utilize a learning mindset for new practices, tools, and platforms within the digital marketing space

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in digital marketing, marketing communications, or related fields
  • 3+ years of people management or team leadership experience
  • Strong expertise across digital channels (web, email, social, paid media, and campaigns) globally
  • Exceptional written communication and messaging skills
  • Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading digital marketing within a matrixed or enterprise organization
  • Experience in healthcare and CPG industries
  • Experience using analytics and marketing automation platforms
  • Experience in digital marketing roles within Commercial function
  • Strong familiarity with A/B testing, personalization, and conversion optimization
