Job description

POSITION SUMMARY 

The Digital Operations Manager (DOM) is a highly organized, tech-savvy marketing professional responsible for executing and optimizing the organization's digital marketing, email communications, website management, analytics, and campaign efforts. This role requires a resourceful self-starter who can successfully manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, balance competing deadlines, and work effectively within a small, collaborative team. The ideal candidate combines strong technical aptitude with excellent project management, content creation, and analytical skills, leveraging digital platforms and data-driven insights to support organizational goals, audience engagement, fundraising initiatives, and occupancy growth. A proactive mindset, attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to independently problem-solve are essential for success in this role. A great sense of humor also helps. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 
Email Marketing & Marketing Automation 

  • Build, manage, and execute email marketing campaigns, including audience segmentation, list management, template development, scheduling, deployment, and post-campaign analysis. 
  • Develop and maintain automated nurture campaigns and audience journeys. 
  • Monitor email deliverability, maintain list hygiene, and ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM and other applicable regulations. 
  • Collaborate with CRM and data stakeholders to ensure audience accuracy and effective segmentation. 

Website Management & Digital Experience 

  • Manage day-to-day website updates using WordPress, ensuring content is accurate, timely, and aligned with organizational priorities. 
  • Build and maintain website pages, landing pages, and digital content, applying best practices for usability, accessibility, and user experience. 
  • Conduct regular website content audits and coordinate updates with internal stakeholders to address content gaps and outdated information. 
  • Build and configure online forms and event registration pages using digital platforms and tools. 

Digital Analytics & Performance Reporting 

  • Monitor and analyze performance across email, website, social media, fundraising, and other digital marketing channels using tools such as Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Meta Insights, Campaign Monitor, Salesforce, Further, Logix, CallRail, and SurveyMonkey. 
  • Track and report on key performance indicators, including website traffic, engagement, conversions, lead generation, fundraising outcomes, and campaign effectiveness. 
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance summaries for internal stakeholders. 
  • Translate analytics and performance data into actionable recommendations that support marketing, communications, fundraising, census, and organizational goals. 
  • Track and analyze social media metrics, including reach, engagement, impressions, follower growth, click-through rates, and conversions. 

Content Development & Digital Communications 

  • Assist in developing, editing, and publishing content across digital channels, including websites, intranet, email campaigns, social media, blogs, and marketing materials. 
  • Ensure and proof all digital content and assets align with organizational branding, messaging, and communication standards. 

Project Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Coordinate digital campaigns and project deliverables with marketing, development, clinical, operational, facilities, dining services, and event teams to ensure timely and accurate execution. 
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the marketing department and external web and intranet development partners, managing communications, priorities, timelines, and deliverables. 
  • Define project requirements, prepare briefs, and oversee website maintenance, enhancement, and user experience improvements in collaboration with leadership and vendors. 
  • Support departmental initiatives and special projects while adapting to evolving organizational and marketing priorities. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field; or equivalent combination of 10 years education and experience. 
  • Demonstrated experience managing digital marketing platforms, including email marketing automation, CRM systems, website content management systems (CMS), sales, fundraising, chatbots, and event registration tools. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret digital performance data, develop reports, and translate insights into actionable recommendations. 
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. 
  • Proficiency with digital marketing and creative tools, including Google Analytics (GA4), WordPress, SharePoint, or similar CMS platforms, and preferable but not required design applications such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva. Experience with HTML/CSS and relevant marketing certifications is preferred.  
  • Experience working within a nonprofit, healthcare, senior living, mission-driven, or Jewish communal organization preferred. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to use standard office equipment, including computers, monitors, and mobile devices.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for meetings, events, or organizational activities as needed.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, virtually, and through written correspondence.

JOB DETAILS

  • Pay Rate: $147,000 - $163,000 annually
  • Hours: Full-Time
  • This is an on-site position; local candidates only
