The Director, Data Products leads the strategy, architecture, and delivery of the firm's data platform, business intelligence, and data products ecosystem within Digital & Technology. Reporting to the Managing Director, Data Analytics, this role partners with business and technology stakeholders across Finance, People, Marketing & Communications, and other domains to translate business priorities into scalable, governed data, analytics, activation, and AI capabilities.

What You Will Do:

  • Define and execute the firm's data platform and BI strategy, translating business priorities into a multi-year roadmap.

  • Lead delivery of data and BI platforms across business domains, balancing shared platform capacity and competing priorities.

  • Establish operating model, team structure, and delivery standards across data engineering, analytics, and BI.

  • Own data architecture and standards, including Snowflake, dbt, layered models, and semantic layer governance.

  • Define and enforce data governance, security, and privacy controls (e.g., RBAC, PII masking, access policies).

  • Lead development of governed semantic models and data products that support reporting and AI use cases.

  • Define and oversee MCP data strategy and integration layer supporting AI products and agent-based workflows.

  • Establish patterns for AI enablement, including governed semantic views, verified queries, and agent quality controls.

  • Lead data activation strategy, including reverse ETL and synchronization of models into CRM, marketing, and other downstream systems.

  • Govern compute cost, performance, and consumption across analytics, BI, and AI workloads.

  • Own CI/CD strategy and engineering standards for data, analytics, and AI (testing, deployment, observability).

  • Define KPIs/OKRs and lead executive reporting on platform adoption, reliability, and value delivery.

  • Build and develop a high-performing team, including mentoring and upskilling on modern data and AI capabilities.

  • Support evaluation of data, analytics, and AI tools and vendors.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

  • 10+ years of experience leading data, analytics, or engineering teams.

  • 5+ years of experience with enterprise data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, dbt, pipelines, orchestration).

  • 5+ years of experience leading BI platforms and analytics delivery.

  • Strong SQL proficiency and working knowledge of Python

  • Knowledge of modern data platforms (Snowflake, dbt, pipelines, orchestration, BI tools).

  • Knowledge of semantic modeling, dimensional modeling, and medallion/layered architecture.

  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and privacy frameworks.

  • Knowledge of data activation (reverse ETL) and downstream system integration.

  • Knowledge of AI data enablement patterns (semantic models, MCP, agent observability).

  • Skill in defining strategy, architecture, and operating models for data platforms.

  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage tradeoffs across cost, performance, and delivery priorities.

  • Strong communication and team leadership skills.

This position is eligible for overtime: NoThe Target Salary Range For This Position Varies By Location And Is Commensurate With Relevant Experience: $220,000.00 -270,000.00
