Job Description:
HPE is seeking a visionary leader to drive our enterprise cybersecurity architecture. As the Director of Enterprise Cybersecurity Architecture, you will shape security strategies, define architecture standards, and lead a global team of architects to embed security across all technology domains at HPE. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence enterprise-wide decisions on emerging technologies such as AI, Zero Trust, and cloud-native security.
This position can be based anywhere in the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a global team of cybersecurity architects.
  • Define and govern enterprise cybersecurity architecture principles, standards, and blueprints.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Engineering, and Business teams to ensure security is integrated into strategic initiatives.
  • Develop reference architectures and patterns to enable secure engineering practices.
  • Establish governance processes and participate in the Architecture Review Board.
  • Define security architecture standards for AI, Generative AI, and autonomous systems.
  • Provide strategic guidance on emerging security technologies and trends.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, influencing technology decisions.

Experience and Skills:
  • Extensive years of experience in cybersecurity or enterprise architecture.
  • Solid background managing architecture teams.
  • Deep expertise in security domains such as Identity, Cloud Security, Application Security, and Zero Trust.
  • Strong knowledge of frameworks like TOGAF, NIST, and Zero Trust Architecture.
  • Proven success in influencing complex, global technology strategies.
  • Experience with hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, TOGAF, CISM, CCSP, SABSA, GIAC.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

The expected salary/wage range for this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level.
- United States of America: Annual Salary USD 194,000 - 412,500 in California // 170,000 - 412,500 in Texas
