Job description

The Cambridge is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Dining Services to lead our dining operations in Smyrna, GA. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of dining services, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our clients and guests while managing staff and resources efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations of dining services including food preparation, service, and cleanliness.
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate dining staff ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.
  • Develop and implement menus in collaboration with culinary staff to meet client needs and dietary requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Monitor inventory, order supplies, and control food costs to maximize profitability.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and timely.
  • Prepare reports on dining operations performance and budget management.
Shift 
  • Monday - Friday 
  • 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. 
  • Will need to cook for 2 shifts per week and may need to fill in for Server, Utility Worker and Cook as needed 
Requirements
  • Proven experience in dining services management or related hospitality field.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Flexible availability including weekends and holidays as needed.
