Key Exciting Responsibilities:
  • Drive strategic cost reduction initiatives with the supply base to achieve quarterly targets and present financial results to executive management.
  • Spearhead cross-functional projects to resource or dual-source critical materials, mitigating production risks and optimizing total cost.
  • Collaborate with Design Engineering and Program teams during new product introductions to implement robust global sourcing strategies.
  • Act as the global data analytics champion, utilizing advanced reporting tools to evaluate supplier forecasting, material float, and buffer stock agreements.
  • Cultivate high-level relationships with global suppliers while conducting executive performance reviews and scorecard cadences.

Essential Skills & Experience:
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in purchasing, direct procurement, and commodity management across the product lifecycle.
  • Advanced expertise with data tools including Excel, Google Sheets, SmartSheets, and ERP systems like Oracle or Agile.
  • Proven capability in negotiating pricing, supply agreements, long-term agreements, and statements of work.
  • Exceptional communication and team-building skills with a track record of presenting to multinational cross-functional groups.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (BSEE/BSME) or Business with technical experience.

Bonus Points For:
  • Experience acting as an internal super-user for analytics systems such as Cognos or DOMO.
  • Background managing complex electronic or mechanical manufacturing commodities in a global environment.

Logistics:
  • Location: Westminster, CO or Dayton, OH - in office 4 days per week
  • Travel Requirement: 15%
