Armed School Security โ€“ Professional Guardian Role

At Cardinal Point Security Group, we donโ€™t hire guardsโ€”we recruit Professional Guardians. We are seeking disciplined, mission-driven individuals for a $25/hour Armed School Security Officer role in Wyndmoor, PA. This is a high-trust school safety position, not a generic post, designed for the Quiet Professional who can balance tactical readiness with calm mentorship, sound judgment, and restraint.


Location: Wyndmoor, PA


Pay: $25.00 per hour


Schedule:


Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM OR 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM


Saturdays: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM



Year-Round Income Opportunity

Qualified officers receive priority consideration for crossover work in our commercial, executive protection, and event divisions during summer and school breaks.

The Mission

Serve as a trusted safety partner in a school environmentโ€”maintaining a safe, calm, and violence-free campus while building credibility with students, staff, and administrators. Strong officers project confidence without fear, de-escalate conflict early, stay composed under pressure, and respond decisively when required.



What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Maintain a professional armed presence and conduct proactive campus patrols
  • Use calm verbal de-escalation to manage conflicts and disruptions
  • Act as a capable first responder during emergencies
  • Build professional relationships while maintaining clear boundaries
  • Write clear, factual incident reports and support operational excellence



Requirements

  • Minimum five years of Armed Security experience
  • Military, or law enforcement, or armed school security experience is a requirement
  • PA Act 235 Certification and PA Concealed Carry Permit
  • Must possess and qualify with your own firearm
  • Ability to obtain all required Kโ€‘12 clearances
  • Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and professional demeanor
  • No disqualifying criminal history
