What role you will play in our team

The Brand Strategy Senior Advisor, as part of the Fuels Global Brand & BCX team, is responsible for leading brand strategy for long-term product and innovation roadmaps. The position in senior in nature and must direct business/projects on agency oversight and compliance, brand architecture, marcom spend optimization, and cross-value chain best practices sharing. This role will also frequently interact with and manage agencies and vendors as well as have significant interaction with multiple markets and business units across Fuels and Product Solutions. This role is located in Spring, TX and works under the direction of the Fuels Global Brand & BCX Manager.

  • Lead long-term brand strategy to drive growth, innovation, market expansion, brand relevance, and business performance.
  • Define and gain alignment on long term brand vision, objectives, and priorities across the organization.
  • Translate brand strategy into actionable business, marketing, and go-to-market plans that balance business goals with customer needs.
  • Champion the brand vision across stakeholders, acting as a change agent to drive understanding, adoption, and execution.
  • Align global and regional teams around the brand’s strategic direction, priorities, and investments.
  • Develop and oversee global brand-building initiatives, including retail and commercial marketing programs.
  • Guide the creation of global brand assets, best practices, toolkits, and execution standards.
  • Optimize marketing communications investments to maximize ROI and effectiveness.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, consumer insights, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Identify and advance initiatives that strengthen brand positioning, growth, and profitability.
  • Partner with Consumer Insights and Business Intelligence teams to uncover actionable consumer, segment, and market insights.
  • Influence and support Regional Business Units (RBUs) in brand management, execution, and capability development.
  • Communicate brand strategy and value to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strengthen organizational capability through knowledge sharing, training, and development of marketing talent.
About you

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors in Marketing, Communications, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in marketing, specifically areas such as: brand management, agency and vendor management, campaign development and execution, media buying, and performance tracking.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions, agencies, and markets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint) with strong organizational and administrative capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout North America as needed.

Preferred Qualifications / Experience

  • 15+ years of experience in marketing operations, budget management, compliance/audit, and communications, preferably within a global marketing & brand strategy.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and external service providers, with a focus on building productive relationships and delivering results.
  • Customer-focused team player with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for marketing operations.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
