As a Software Engineer Sr within PNC's Enterprise Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, or Birmingham, AL.
Candidates should have experience with the following:
- Production & Application Support Operations
Provide reliable daytoday support for production and nonproduction applications to ensure system stability and business continuity.
Deliver production and application support by monitoring system performance, responding to incidents, analyzing logs, and resolving issues using tools such as Dynatrace, API traces, and application logs.
Troubleshoot application issues across layers, including APIs, SQL queries, and Oracle databases, performing rootcause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Application Maintenance, Patching & Technical Enablement
Maintain application health through upgrades, configuration management, and vendordriven updates while supporting ongoing technical improvements.
Configure, test, and install vendorprovided patches and updates, coordinating deployment activities and validating application stability postimplementation.
Support application configuration changes, API integrations, and database updates, ensuring alignment with operational standards, security requirements, and release processes.PNC is an in-office company that fosters a supportive culture where employees can thrive and achieve balance. • Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs.
• Writes code, tests and deploys software.
• Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
• Maintains and debugs software.
