The Amazon Key Account Manageris responsibleforowning and driving the end-to-end Amazon business, including revenue growth, profitability, and operational excellence. This position reports to theSr. Director, Amazon Channel Developmentfor Adventure Sports and is based onsite in Irvine, Ca.

As the Amazon Account Manager, you will have an opportunity to:

  • Own andformulatetheannualAmazonbusiness plan,including revenue, profitability, and inventory targets,implement and monitorperformance weekly/monthly to drive channel growth.

  • Own day-to-dayAmazonbusiness performance, working cross-functionally (internal and external) to ensure all financial, operational, and performance metrics are met or exceeded.

  • Delivertimely,accurate, and actionable business insights,leveragingAmazon data to inform decisions and drive continuous improvements.

  • Developand execute strategicinitiatives (promotions, SMUs, Direct Import Programs, etc.) including clear action plans to deliver against Amazon Key Moments (e.g., Prime Day, Holiday Deal Events).

  • Build customer relationships across multiple levels within Amazon GLs andleveragethose relationships to unlock growth opportunities and improve execution.

  • Build and foster relationships with Amazon retail teams to support forecast alignment, promotionalplanning,and business expansion.

  • Own account P&L performance, including margin, co-op, tradespendand promotional funding; activelymanageprofitability and ROI.

  • Partner with Demand Planning and Supply Chain to develop and align inventory forecasts for new and existing products, improve PO flow, confirmation rates, and in-stock performance.

  • Own inventory health and in-stock performance, overseeing forecasting processes tooptimizeweeks of cover, minimize stockouts, and mitigate excess inventory.

  • Use data,systems, andAmazon-specific tools (e.g., Vendor Central, Retail Analytics) toidentifytrends and drive actions that maximize market share,salesand profitability.

  • LeadCustomer & Category Strategic Development, alignment assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies toAmazondemand signals and brandobjectives.

  • Negotiateandoptimizetrade funding and terms, ensuring investments drive measurable customer and company value.

  • Act as the central Amazon business lead, translating sales, inventory, and performance datainto clear actions for Product, Demand Planning, Marketing and Merchandising teams.

  • Lead execution of Amazon merchandising and marketing initiatives, ensuring content readiness, inventory support, and alignment to drive traffic, conversion, and revenue.

  • Leveragebrand and product assortment strategies (core, seasonal, exclusive, long-tail) to improve profitability and achieve platform and brand targets.

  • Collaborateacrosssales teams to share best practices andoptimizebroader online channel performance where applicable.

You have:

  • 5 years of direct and hands-on experience in ecommerce,salesand/or marketplace account management

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience working with Amazon vendor central

  • Strong analytical thinking withaunderstanding of business opportunities, trends, and issues.

  • Mastery of "retail math" and canleveragethis knowledge to craft compelling presentations for customers, reps, and internal teams.

  • Track recordof exceeding sales and profitability goals.

  • Teamplayerwho can lead lateral reports and team members to achieve goals.

  • Demonstratedtrack recordof success launching new consumer products through national and specialty retailers.

  • Demonstratedproficiencymanaging multi-million dollarEcommerce accounts; Amazon marketplace management experience preferred.

  • Providestimelyandaccuratereports asrequired.

  • Develop strategic initiatives (promotions, SMU's, Direct Import Programs, etc.) andformulatesspecific action items to meet these initiatives.

Pay Range:

Annual Salary: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
