Position Overview

The CTE Innovation Director โ€“ Advanced Manufacturing Technology (AMT) will lead the growth and development of a modern Career & Technical Education program focused on advanced manufacturing, robotics, engineering design, fabrication, and emerging technologies.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building programs, creating engaging learning experiences, and helping students connect their education to real-world careers. Youโ€™ll have the opportunity to bring fresh ideas to the table, collaborate with a supportive leadership team, and help shape innovative learning environments that prepare students for todayโ€™s workforce.

Weโ€™re looking for someone who is creative, adaptable, tech-forward, and passionate about making education more relevant, hands-on, and inspiring for the next generation.

What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Lead the launch and continued development of Advanced Manufacturing Technology labs across Lakeland, Winter Haven, and Fort Meade campuses
  • Create engaging, hands-on learning experiences centered around manufacturing, robotics, fabrication, engineering, and design
  • Develop innovative curriculum aligned with workforce trends and industry certifications
  • Teach students how to safely use industry-standard tools, equipment, and software
  • Prepare students for certifications related to CAD software, manufacturing technology, robotics, and engineering pathways
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and career-focused learning environment
  • Collaborate with school leadership, business partners, and community stakeholders to strengthen workforce partnerships
  • Inspire students to explore high-demand career pathways and future opportunities in technical industries
  • Support program growth, innovation initiatives, and student career readiness outcomes

What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • Experience in advanced manufacturing, engineering technology, robotics, fabrication, CAD, machining, or related technical fields
  • Teaching, instructional leadership, training, or mentoring experience preferred
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Passion for hands-on learning and student success
