Job Title:  Senior Traffic Coordinator - WSB TV

Position Overview

WSB TV Atlanta is looking for an experienced Senior Traffic Coordinator or an outgoing self-starter to work in our Traffic department. This candidate can work effectively with all the departments at our television station and be flexible in an ever-changing environment. The ideal candidate has great attention to detail, knows how to build successful relationships, can take direction as well as work independently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Able to manage logs, clearing displaced spots using the stations parameters on rate and priorities. In addition, able to work with our Promotions and Community Affairs departments to fill logs.   
  • Responsible for separating competing advertisers and products for a professional on-air look.
  • Able to monitor both local and Network program grids to ensure program schedules are up to date and the ability to read program formats and revise when necessary.  
  • Communicate directly with the Account Executives Sales Managers when needed.
  • Download the broadcast logs/files to Master Control and appropriate departments in the building.
  • Communicate directly with Master Control on any “same day” changes
  • Able to provide vacation relief to other Traffic Team members.
  • Assist with weekly and monthly client billing reports.
  • Prepare client cash in advance reports daily.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and multi-task, able to prioritize responsibilities in order to meet daily deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to successfully manage large volume of daily emails
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills, in person, on phone and written.
  • Ability to work well with all levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2-4 years previous TV or Radio Traffic Experience
  • At least one year of Wide Orbit experience
  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience
