Job description

Job Title : Digital Solutions Architect

Location: Remote (Consultants must reside in one of the following approved states: Florida, Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, North Carolina, Ohio, Texas, or Wisconsin)

Duration :6+ Months Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Digital Solutions Architect to design and deliver scalable, secure, and resilient technology solutions that align with business objectives. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and third-party vendors to define enterprise architecture strategies, evaluate emerging technologies, and guide cloud-native solution development. This role requires a strong engineering background with expertise in solution architecture, cloud computing, enterprise applications, and modern software development practices.

 Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with business and technology teams to design scalable, flexible, and resilient solution architectures.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical architecture solutions.
  • Evaluate proposed business initiatives and determine architectural impact.
  • Assess emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
  • Perform build-versus-buy evaluations and provide technology recommendations.
  • Develop high-level solution designs, system integrations, and architecture roadmaps.
  • Create rough cost estimates (RCEs) for solution options.
  • Establish architecture standards, patterns, best practices, and governance.
  • Design enterprise solutions covering application, data, infrastructure, integration, and security.
  • Support cloud-native application development across public and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Evaluate and recommend cloud technologies for enterprise adoption.
  • Collaborate with Agile development teams throughout the SDLC by providing architectural guidance.
  • Incorporate security best practices including Zero Trust, IAM, Threat Modeling, and compliance requirements into solution designs.
  • Recommend practical AI and Machine Learning capabilities where appropriate.
  • Mentor development teams and provide technical leadership.
  • Contribute to enterprise architecture strategies and long-term technology roadmaps.
 Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on Solution Architecture or Solution Design experience.
  • Minimum 1+ year of hands-on experience designing and building solutions on AWS.
  • Minimum 5+ years of software development or application engineering experience.
  • Hands-on coding experience with at least two of the following:
  • Java
  • JavaScript
  • C#
  • C/C++
  • Node.js
  • Python
  • Experience designing enterprise applications using:
  • Microservices
  • Serverless architectures
  • Containerization
  • Cloud-native application development
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
  • Integration Architecture
  • Data Architecture
  • Streaming Architecture
  • Cloud Architecture
  • Experience creating scalable application and data architecture patterns.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience evaluating technical solutions and presenting implementation options, risks, and recommendations.
  • Knowledge of digital transformation technologies and modern enterprise architecture practices.
  • Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, and ITIL.
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, mentoring, and project management abilities.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies.

  • AWS cloud architecture expertise.
  • Experience with enterprise architecture governance.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML solution integration.
