A. RESPONSIBILITIES
Architects are responsible for activities such as:
Solution Architecture System Design: Designing the overall system architecture, analyzing requirements, considering performance, scalability, security, and usability aspects, and creating a blueprint for the application's structure.
Tool Evaluation, Technology Selection, POT/POC: Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and platforms for building the application. This involves considering factors such as platform compatibility, development time, maintainability, and future scalability.
API Design: Design the application programming interfaces (APIs) that enable communication between different components of the application and ensure that APIs are well-defined, efficient, and easy to use by other developers.
Performance Optimization: Optimize the performance of applications by implementing best practices such as efficient algorithms, data caching, and minimizing network requests. Conduct performance testing and profiling to identify and address bottlenecks.
Security Implementation: Responsible for incorporating security measures into the application architecture to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access. This includes implementing the following measures (but not limited to) encryption, authentication, authorization, and secure communication protocols.
Scalability Planning: Anticipate future growth and plan for scalability by designing the architecture in a way that can accommodate increasing user loads and feature expansions without compromising performance or stability.
Code Review and Guidance: Provide guidance and support to development teams by reviewing code (manual and automated), offering technical expertise, and ensuring that coding standards and best practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle.
Integration Architecture and Management: Integration with various applications/systems, including third-party services, libraries, and APIs into the application architecture. Ensure seamless interaction and compatibility with existing components.
Documentation and Training: The architecture design decisions, APIs, and technical specifications of the application. Putting together architecture artifacts for ARB review. Provide training sessions to development teams to ensure a clear understanding of the architecture and best practices.

Business architecture, roadmap, and implement the expansion of business capabilities as well as technical capabilities.
